Since moving into my new place, I have enjoyed creating my new “home”. The quickest way to personalize a room is through sofa pillows.  Your living room is a place to entertain and have fun conversation pieces. Here is a step by step guide to personalizing pillows.  I hope to start making and sharing DIY videos soon. Measure dimensions of your pillow.  Add 1″ to the height and multiply the length by 2, then add 6″  i.e. (18″ x 18″ pillow requires 19″ x 42″ fabric). Place rectangle right-side down and press 1/2″.  Fold over and  press another 1/2″.  Stitch 1/4″ from inner fold. Overlap right and left edges by 4″(right sides together).  Measure the square to make sure it matches your pillow dimensions. Sew the top and bottom  edges with 1/2″ seam allowance.
