Since moving into my new place, I have enjoyed creating my new “home”. The quickest way to personalize a room is through sofa pillows. Your living room is a place to entertain and have fun conversation pieces. Here is a step by step guide to personalizing pillows. I hope to start making and sharing DIY videos soon. Measure dimensions of your pillow. Add 1″ to the height and multiply the length by 2, then add 6″ i.e. (18″ x 18″ pillow requires 19″ x 42″ fabric). Place rectangle right-side down and press 1/2″. Fold over and press another 1/2″. Stitch 1/4″ from inner fold. Overlap right and left edges by 4″(right sides together). Measure the square to make sure it matches your pillow dimensions. Sew the top and bottom edges with 1/2″ seam allowance. Press. Turn your pillowcase right side out. Insert pillow. How did this work out for you? It took me a little over an hour to complete. 90 degrees and cool valleys Yummy tastings Welcoming client experience Yummy summer Rose
I delight in a rose on a warm evening. This rose had some acidity, bursts of strawberries, and small hints of tannin. As the wine buyer described , ” It’s like summer water!” Want some cheese with that wine ? [pun intended] For me, wine is best served with a taste of food. Please share the delight in my experience. My first experience shopping an estate sale was standing in a block long line at 8 am. The house was for sale by the owner along with everything in it. Anxious shoppers and collectors flooded all 3 floors. It is hard to fight the urge to buy all things in sight like tiny silverware to antique furniture. I wonder the stories behind every piece. I stuck to small notions to either keep, gift, or resell. How do you like my finds? If you are interested in purchasing, contact me.
